Before the civil rights movement white people and colored people were segregated from each other from education to water fountains. But have you ever asked yourself how it started. In 1886 White people colored themselves with black paint and then made fun of black people,this was called Jim crow.


  Where is the love is a song written by The Black Eyed Peas. It is very popular because because it spread's a message that everyone needed at that time after tragic events like 9/11. If you didn't know 9/11 is the date is when the World trade centers were attacked  and the Pentagon by suicide attackers who hijacked airplanes and drove into the World trade centers and the Pentagon in total 2700 people died in the attacks. These attacks led to people calling everybody a terrorist except for people who were white. This song's message is that we should love each other instead of people killing each other for gang related stuff or being racist to people who were not involved in the attacks. Where is the love got a lot of awards because it spreads a message of love and peace.this song was written in 2003 by The Black Eyed Peas and it's purpose is to spread love and peace.
